I am a trained yoga hatha teacher, have practiced Ashtanga for nearly two years and enjoy walking. I've been doing the five daily rites for fifteen years now. Even though I am nearly fifty years of age, many people guess my age to be in my mid-thirties. I admit that I do not always do the exercises, but I seem to be aging more slowly than other people that I grew up with, including my brothers, which tends to rule out a genetic factor.
